TMNT LARP Figures: Raph The Barbarian
There are four new versions of the Nickelodeon TMNT figures out now. These are based on the episode “Mazes & Mutants” when the turtles played a Live Action Role Play game. We’re continuing our look at these figures with Raph the Dwarf Barbarian.
Raph is dressed in his Barbarian costume made from a Spaghetti Strainer and a Shaggy Rug. The costume is clearly a Dwarf Barbarian outfit and that fits Raph perfectly.
Raph’s horned spaghetti strainer helmet is removable.
Raph comes with a Dwarven Axe
Even though Raph has a lot of bulky sculpted body parts, his articulation isn’t hindered as much as you would think. He has the same articulation as Leo with moving neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees.
My Raph has a problem, he was outfitted with two left shoulders/upper arms. I don’t believe this is a common problem as I have seen at least one other one in person with the correct shoulders, but it’s something you may want to look out for. Thankfully, this problem doesn’t affect the figure too much (Range of motion is slightly off, but that’s it)
Raph is pretty nice as the Dwarf Barbarian and blends well with the others. He’s not my favorite of the bunch, but he’s not bad either.
