REVIEW: Savage Dragon #201

Savage Dragon #201 Writers: Erik Larsen, Gary Carlson Artists: Erik Larsen, Frank Fosco Cover Art: Erik Larsen $3.99 / FC Solicitation: Following the cataclysmic events of our awe-inspiring 200th issue, Malcolm Dragon comes face-to-face with the new head of the Vicious Circle! It's a battle like none you've seen before! Review: The events Savage Dragon #200 has put Dragon's son Malcolm in the position of being the inheritor of a legacy, and in this issue, we see it starting to sink into his head that the Dragon legacy is something not to be taken likely. In many ways, he's being asked to grow up very fast, despite still being in High School. Like most guys in their older teens, Malcolm has sex on his mind a lot, to the point that outside of his battle with Dart, that's all anyone in the book seems to talk about.

REVIEW: S.H.I.E.L.D. #2

Editor's Note: I'm having a less than busy day, so I'm reviewing all the comics that I'm reading today before moving on to the next one. Some of these may seem redundant based on previous reviews, but that's what I'm reading today. S.H.I.E.L.D. #2 MARK WAID (w) HUMBERTO RAMOS (A) Cover by JULIAN TOTINO TEDESCO Variant cover by HUMBERTO RAMOS 32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$3.99 Synopsis: • Why has SHIELD agent Jemma Simmons gone undercover at the Coles Academic High School in Jersey City? • Maybe it has something to do with the all-new Ms Marvel... • ...and the most dangerous lunch meal ever served Review: It's rare when I laugh out loud reading a comic, but as I turned the first page, I laughed out loud at a horrible cliché that I completely did not see coming.

But nothing good ever lasts long in Gotham City – and the other yellow boot is about to drop...hard! Review: To be honest, I did not read the previous issue which caused controversy with it's reveal of the fake Batgirl as an evil cross-dresser. It did spark me to read this issue, and see if the qualities that I liked in Batgirl #35.

REVIEW: Justice League United #8

Justice League United #8 Written by JEFF LEMIRE Art by NEIL EDWARDS and JAY LEISTEN Cover by ANDREW ROBINSON THE FLASH 75 Variant cover by KARL KERSCHL 1:25 Variant cover by ROD REIS Synopsis: The penultimate chapter of “The Infinitus Saga” is here as the fate of the future is decided in a battle between Justice League United and the Legion of Super-Heroes! Review: I have to preface this review with the statement that I am a huge fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes. That's not a surprise to anyone that frequents the site, however that does mean that I am the type of reader that DC wants to pick up the Justice League United storyline that re-introduces the Legion to the New 52. After reading this issue, I doubt that, however.

Review: Wonder Woman ’77 #1

Wonder Woman '77 #1 Writer: Mark Andreyko Artist: Drew Johnson Colorist: Romulo Fajardo Jr. Synopsis: Take a trip back to the days of disco with everyone's favorite Amazon Princess. Wonder Woman hits the dance floor in pursuit of an escaped Russian spy. Review: It seems as if DC has been having some good success lately with its line of Digital First comics. Injustice has garnered a lot of fans. Sensation Comics has filled a need for Wonder Woman fans. Batman '66 has recaptured a sense of fun that has been missing from Batman for a while. In the vein of Batman '66, Wonder Woman '77 captures the feeling of the television series, pitting Wonder Woman against Cold War-era villains.
