Matty Media Event 2016- Mega bloks and More!
Mega Bloks had a nice display at the Matty Event and the TMNT stole the show. I know we are not alone with this as many hovered around this section for a while. Halo also had a good showing and the sets look tight. We would like to say thank you to the fine folks at Matty for putting on this event and for giving us free food and beverages! Matty Collector is always welcoming and I look forward to working with them during the year! Now onto the last set of images!
Hasbro & Mattel Merger?
Bloomberg is reporting a possible Hasbro & Mattel Merger. It's not the first time talks have been held, but could we see the majority of the Toy Aisles under one roof?

Ghostbusters 2016 Figures Revealed
Paul Feig, director of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, has tweeted out a first look at figures from the film. The four figure, which are 6″ scale, are being released by Mattel. Never judge a book by it's cover and the same goes for these. This line could have potential folks. Here are the four main characters: Kristen Wiig as Erin Gilbert Leslie Jones as Patty Tolan Melissa McCarthy as Abby Yates Kate McKinnon as Jillian Holtzmann
New ThunderCats Lion-O Figure Images
New ThunderCats Lion-O Figure Images have emerged. Thanks to the folks over at Four Horsemen studios and Mattel for the updated images. Thundercats will be coming back out in a major way! The Four Horsemen will be sculpting these new figures in a more accurate look to the classic 80's cartoon. The figure will be released sometime next year on the MattyCollector.com website.
Power-Con 2016 Tickets and Exclusives Pre-Order Information!
Power-Con 2016 registration is coming up and they will have some must have exclusives! According to the official Power-Con Website they will have three Masters of the Universe Classics Exclusives: Camo Khan – $45 Beast Man (Red Minicomic Version) – $45 Granamyr (Green Minicomic Version) – $100 Now here is some good news for fans who can't make the show. While there is no guarantees on figure availability, Power-Con will try and offer the figures to those who will miss the show. More conventions need to take this step and you can read all the details below.
SDCC 2015 Friday Mattel Booth
Rebel Base Comics posted some pictures of Mattel's booth today with a lot of new reveals! Among the new items are MOTUC figures based on the Filmation He-Man cartoon, a GIANT MOTUC scaled Snake Mountain and a Castle Greyskull Mega Bloks set! We also get to see more of Lion-O & Jackalman

SDCC Mattel MOTUC Gallery
Mattel had a few items from the Masters of the Universe Classics line to show off at SDCC today. There's the subscription only add on head pack that includes new heads for a handful of classic characters in their 2000x appearances, we also see newer figures from 200x like King Chooblah and finally there's an awesome looking Talon Fighter!
