Review: Star Wars #28

I decided to review a comic from last week, having a day off from my day job and feeling the need to earn my keep around here. Looking around, I found the latest issue of Star Wars, a little disappointed that Stuart Immonen wasn't doing the interior art, but willing to give Larroca a chance. I recognize the name but couldn't place a major project I remembered him from, not having read a lot of his work on any of the other Marvel titles.

Star Wars #11 Review

With The Force Awakens nigh, the interest in all things Star Wars is increasing. In case you didn't notice among all of the trailers, toys, novels and fan theories, Marvel is producing a regular series set firmly between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. Written by Jason Aaron, known for his work on Southern Bastards and Thor, among many other comics, the book sits firmly near the top of the sales charts every month. Review: Thor #6

I have to admit, I thought the introduction of a female Thor was a cheap ploy at first to temporarily boost sales, but I've actually enjoyed this series, and I have been intrigued by the mystery surrounding her identity. Its looking like that mystery will be revealed by this summer's Secret Wars crossover, but in the meantime, the Odinson is out to discover who this new Thor actually is.

Needless Character Analysis: The New Thor

I had read the first issue featuring the new, female Thor and have constantly been barraged with the teaser clues other sites have been running about the possible identity of the new Thor. Based solely on the first issue, I was certain that she was actually Thor's (step)mother, Freyja, subsequent issues have purged that theory with the female Thor's inner monologue. It doesn't look like writer Jason Aaron is going to drop the ball anytime soon, so let's take a look at the new Thor.
