Review: Infinite Loop #3

I've really been loving this series, so it wasn't strange for me to read the next issue as soon as I could. It's been very good with using science fiction elements to tell a different, more personal story about something other than time travel. While it's blatant about its intentions, it's entertaining in its execution. Because it goes so far into the realm of theoretical time travel theory, it can play loose with the rules. To say more would be getting into reviewing the comic, so rather than blather on, let's get started with the review.

Artist Of The Week: Elsa Charretier

In reviewing Infinite Loop #1 this week, I really got to study the artwork of French artist Elsa Charretier. Elsa came to notice with the Kickstarter campaign that initially funded Infinite Loop, but Internet coverage, specifically of Elsa's artwork got the attention of IDW, who saw the potential in the story and offered to publish it in the U.S. Her artwork emphasizes perspective, keeps all characters true to their specific look, and honors their inspirations.

Review; Infinite Loop #1

This comic keeps moving across my desk, begging to be re-read and reviewed. Maybe it's the more animated-style artwork by Elsa Charretier (more on her Friday) that reminds me of Darwyn Cooke, and maybe it's that I'm a sucker for time travel stories, although I tend to be harsher in my assessment of them. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a good read.
