Marvel Announces New Darth Vader Comic for 2017!
Marvel has announced a new ongoing Star Wars series about the legendary Sith lord Darth Vader. The new series will be written by Charles Soule, who has written several Star Wars series for Marvel (including Poe Dameron, Lando, Obi-Wan & Anakin), with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli. The series will pick up the second Revenge of the Sith ends, with Vader and Palpatine on the bridge of a star destroyer looking at the still in construction Death Star. The first arc of the series will deal with Vader constructing his red lightsaber. I know many fans, including myself, was disappointed when the last Darth Vader book ended. Star Wars Movie Realization Samurai General Darth Vader That’s a mouthful of a name for a toy. But if you’re confused what it is after reading that, your reading comprehension skills are frighteningly low. Anyway. This review is going to talk specifically about the first release of this figure. The biggest differences are the emblem on his helmet and toward the bottom of his skirt. The newer one has a big gold approximation of the Death Star for a hood ornament and frankly, I don’t dig it. The newer version also comes with an extra sword but that’s not enough of a reason for me to buy it.

Tamashii has revealed new images of their upcoming S.H. Figuarts Star Wars: Return of the Jedi – Luke Skywalker Figure. We finally get to see Luke in action and right now he is up for pre-order! Luke Jedi is roughly 5.5" tall and is scheduled for an August release. Luke will be inline with the other S.H. Figuarts releases price point wise ($45 USD), 5,4900 Yen. He will include interchangeable heads, swappable face pieces, interchangeable hands and a Lightsaber.
