Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot is a cartoon based on the 1995 comic of the same name. What many people don't realize is that there was a toy line for the cartoon during the time it aired on Fox Kids (1999-2001). Join me as we look back at the Bandai toyline and a surprise bonus.
Bandai Toy Fair 2019- DBZ, Big Hero 6 & Godzilla!!
Bandai showcased new releases for Dragon Ball, Godzilla and Big Hero 6. They will be introducing larger Dragon Ball figures this year in a 5 POA format and the retail price will be around 10-12 dollars each. Bandai will also be releasing a new 5 inch scale assortment and each figure will be highly articulated. Dragon Ball Stars will continue and look for more waves throughout the year.

Bandai has been producing some amazing Dragon Ball figures for the US Market and coming soon will be Dragon Ball Stars Action Figure Wave 9. There has been tons of speculation on who will be in this wave and we finally got some conformation. Look for Super Saiyan 4 Goku ,Frieza 1st Form and Piccolo to round out

Bandai Announces New Star Wars One Sixth Scale Stormtrooper
Yes you read that right. We have new game coming to the One Sixth scale market. How will they compare to Hot Toys or Sideshow? We do not know but we are intrigued to say the least. The first offering will be a Stormtrooper and he looks interesting. Could we see a lower price point compared to the other two? We are unsure but we will know soon enough. Check out the image below.

Bandai Tamashii Nations Movie Realization Ronin Boba Fett Okay. I’m not going to lie to you: I’m just fine with the Black Series figures that Hasbro is putting out. Yeah, the Figuarts stuff is pretty. It’s really nice. Yeah, the Black Series stuff can be a pain to find sometimes and the paint can be a little thick or just not very good. But they’re really hitting the right notes for me in terms of character selection, price, and overall compatibility. They look good together. So for my main Star Wars collection, I’m just fine sticking the Hasbro stuff. But that doesn’t mean I’m not willing to branch out and give new things a try. And what better way to make something new than by making it old?
