Our Favorite People Bring You Archie Meets Ramones In October

Archie Meets Ramones is at first glance another Archie crossover that feels unlikely and a little forced like crossovers with Predator and Sharknado. This one has some of our favorite people on the creative team and looks so promising, if for no other reason than the musical history Archie has in the comics, even though it does seem miles away from the Ramones. Co-written by Matthew Rosenberg and drawn by Gisèle Lagacé, the comic looks worthy of at the very least giving a try. If it were being put together by a standard Archie creative team from four or five years ago, we would probably not even mention it, but those names connect to it make it worth checking out.

Josie And The Pussycats Returning From Archie Comics

Josie and the Pussycats are joining the New Riverdale relaunch this September. Archie Comics fans have always had a soft spot for the girl group that once was so popular, they got their own feature film. The new series will be written by Marguerite Bennett and Cameron DeOrdio. Marguerite has gotten a lot of press for her handling of female characters at Marvel and DC. The artwork will be provided by Audrey Mok, whose work you might remember from Heroine Chic or from the variant covers she's provided for some of the Archie books in the past year. It's looking very promising.

Afterlife With Archie Returns In May!

Afterlife With Archie stands as the one Archie title that changed the direction the characters could go. It's quite possible that without the success of Afterlife With Archie, we would not have seen the current crop of New Riverdale titles. The status of some of the other characters that crossed the paths of Archie and the gang are also still unknown. Well buckle in, because the cover of Afterlife With Archie #10 features a certain guitar-playing Pussycat.

Archie #7 by Mark Waid & Veronica Fish – Review

The new Archie series has been very interesting to follow since its debut last year, and this is no exception. Mark Waid has firmly set up a series of events and redefined characters for the 21st century without betraying their iconic roots. The largest shake-up has to be the rocky relationship status of Archie and Betty and how Archie and Veronica have become firmly established as a couple.
