I Moved To Los Angeles To Work In Animation Coming From BOOM! Studios in December

Autobiographical comics demand an intriguing bit of storytelling in order to be worth a reader's money. Sometimes, they can have broad appeal, and sometimes they are aimed at more of a niche market.  In this day and age, publishers might be less willing to give one of these books a chance. Not so with BOOM! Studios which has made a habit not only of producing some great comics not trying for that share of the mainstream pie, but paradoxically appealing to a larger audience while looking like a niche product. I Moved To Los Angeles To Work In Animation by Natalie Nourigat is one of those books.

Dynamite Launches Gumby Kickstarter

Tie Fighter- A Short Film

One version of this has been posted before but now it seems the original animators has released a new version. This is the type of animation Star Wars needs; something gritty and uber violent. This film is more for the empires point of view but we all know who won the war. Would you guys and gals like to see something similar to this? I do believe it's time and this short film proves the animation is possible. Watch the film and sound off in the comments section.
