PACIFIC RIM 2 Release Date Set for April 7, 2017

If your just waking up this morning, here is some awesome news to get you going. Pacific Rim 2 has been given the green light and a release date of April 7, 2017 was announced. I know, that is a long time to wait for more Kaiju action but I am sure the wait will be well worth it. Guillermo del Toro’, who will be returning also stated that an animated series is in the works and the comic series will continue. This should give fans something to tide them over till 2017. 

Now this film should be bigger, louder and more action packed than the first one and I suspect the US box office will improve. The film barely hit the 1oo million mark here but thankfully the overseas take pushed it well past the 400 million mark. I must admit, I loved the film and this new one is going to awesome!
