G.I. Joe Collectors Club Cross Country Review & Gallery

Cross Country might seem like an odd figure to do but to me and to many other fans this was a well orchestrated plot by the G.I. Joe Collectors Club. The plot you might ask is our fondness for nostalgia and it worked! This figure holds a very special place in my heart for two simple facts; 1-I purchased this figure (well HAVOC actually) with my own money and 2-proving to my parents that I can get a job done and take my time to do it right…..even if it took a few days. The reward at the end of the tunnel was a trip to our local KB Toy store, 20 bucks and a brand new HAVOC with a new Joe named Cross Country.

If you’r a Joe fan then you know very well that the Collectors Club was offering Cross Country as this years membership figure. The Club even offered a carded one both through their site as a pre-order and as a JoeCon exclusive. I passed on the carded figure at Con because I knew I had one on order and I knew one was in the mail. I consider it karma, you know, save one for someone else at the show.

The figure is incredible to say the least. The Club has produced some amazing figures such as Dial Tone, Footloose and Ice Berg but this one, is by far, the best Club figure to date. The amount of detail is off the chart and the incredibly talented guys as Boss Fight Studio had a hand in this as well. The head sculpt is one of the best ARAH interpretations I have ever seen! His accessories are killer as he comes with both an assault rifle, pistol and one big ass wrench! As you know Cross Country likes to keep his HAVOC in battle ready shape.

I would like to personally thank both The G.I. Joe Collectors Club and Boss Fight Studio for letting me re-live a major childhood memory and for giving us a perfect action figure! Thanks guys! Now with that said, I need my HAVOC MK II so hurry up and ship it to me guys!
