Cosplayers at Charlotte Comicon 2014 Winter Show
Sorry for the delay in getting these up, but Christmas holidays being what they are, we couldn’t get an article written right after the show. Charlotte Comicon is always ripe with cosplayers, in addition to some great shopping and terrific artists. While Tracy mans the Needless Essentials retail booth, keeping busy selling to convention goers, I sit in Artist’s Alley, drawing for people and trying to stop those really great cosplayers that stop by. Here are the ones that I got to snag photos of as they came by.

The quality of the costumes were amazing, and Regis Fewell proves that the quality of the cosplayers are equally so, having successfully played the role of Spider-Man for kids and charity. Vivica Hallow’s Baroness gets my vote for costume of the day, although Fewell’s film-ready Spider-Man and Ryan Scott’s 3D-Printed Star Lord helmet make it a close race. I don’t know who won the costume contest for Charlotte Comicon, but these cosplayers show that the joy of dressing for a show can be contagious, even for those of us not cosplaying.
