Charlotte Comicon Winter Show 2014
If you are around or close to Charlotte, NC tomorrow we have something awesome for you! Tomorrow is the annual Charlotte Comicon Winter Show and if you have never been to one of these shows, you’re missing out on some major fun! Cosplay, toys, comics and anything nerd related will be at this show! Local comic creators and artists will be on hand to do some sketch work for you. In fact, our own Stand Ford will be there doing just that! I cannot stress how much fun this show really is folks and if you get the chance, come on down. Yours truly will be there as well selling some of the hottest toys on the market with some friends so stop on by.
This show has gained so much steam over the last few years that show management had to split things up. Comics will be in one room while toys will be in another! This will give everyone as chance to breath and should allow some extra space to shop. In fact, here is some awesome words from the guys running the show:

Our biggest and best show yet! Thousands (heck…..maybe millions!?) of new and vintage comic books and everything comic related for sale and trade. Plus a room full of toy dealers selling all the latest toys and action figures. The area’s best comic creators and artists. Door prizes every hour. A huge Costume Contest for all ages at 2:30 with $220 con cash in prizes. Star Wars and Star Trek clubs participating in costumes. And a whole lot more!!! At the Crowne Plaza Executive Park Hotel (formerly the Marriott Executive Park Hotel) 5700 Westpark Drive (I-77 at exit 5 – Tyvola Road) $5 admission (cosplayers and 12 and under get in free) You don’t wanna miss it……
We plan to start selling tickets at 9AM (one hour before the show opens). We would also ask that everyone try and have exact change for admission if possible ($5 per person).
And remember – children 12 and under and cosplayers get in free.
Everyone – including children 12 and under and cosplayers still need to get a wristband to enter the show (available at the admissions table)
Cosplayers that want to enter the Costume Contest need to check in with the Cosplay table in the Cosplay room between 10:00 and 1:30
We also ask all our dealers to please try and be setup by 9:30 if at all possible.
Door prizes are announced every hour during the show (11,noon,1 ,2 and 3) – please check the board at the admissions table for winners. And remember to keep your tickets.

UPDATE ON TICKETS:
We’re only going to give out wristbands this time for the show. No tickets. The wristbands are all numbered so that will be the number you check for the door prizes. Door prizes announced at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00. Numbers will be posted at the admission table. The wristbands also allow you entry into the dealer rooms.
