Play Arts Variant Black Widow is the next figure from Square Enix. These are new, painted images compared to the unpainted prototype that was shown at SDCC 2015. New Packaging and Box Illustrations for Upcoming Play Arts Kai Variant Figures
Lead designer for Square Enix Play Arts Kai has been blowing up Twitter and these you want to see! Hidemi Matsuzuka has shared a bunch of new images that have centered around the packaging and box illustrations for several upcoming Play Arts Kai figures. Play Arts Variant Venom
Square Enix has released the first photos for their upcoming Play Arts Variant Venom. No other details were provided and no release date has been set. Just know that Venom will be joining Thor, Spiderman and other Marvel Play Arts Variant figures. For now you can check out Venom is all his bad ass glory!
Play Arts Variant Predator
Square Enix also revealed an all-new Play Arts Variant Predator. This version of the Predator is definitely a different take on the character but one would expect this from Play Arts. This will give fans a unique version of an iconic character to add to their collection. The Predator figure includes swappable open and closed mouths, a mask, multiple hands, a club, removable claws, and a figure stand. Look for him to ship in September along with Thor and he will retail for 14,800 Yen ($122 USD). Read on for the images.
Play Arts Kai Variant Marvel Universe Thor
Square Enix has released the first official images and info for their upcoming Play Arts Variant Marvel Universe Thor. Thor will include a swappable portrait, Mjolnir, a swinging Mjolnir attachment, a lightning effect and three sets of interchangeable hands. Thor also features a plastic cape and a figure stand. Play Arts Kai Arkham Knight Batman
We have yet another Batman related Play Arts Kai to share and this time it's the newly revealed Batman: Arkham Knight – Play Arts Kai Arkham Knight Figure. Square Enix has sent over some high res images showcasing this amazing figure. Batman will come with two heads, a sniper rifle, pistols, hands and a figure stand. Look for him this coming August and he will retail for $99.99.
Tetsuya Nomura Batman Play Arts Kai Images New Images!
Coming in from Play Arts Kai is the Tetsuya Nomura designed Variant Batman. Here are the first official images of this unique figure from Square Enix. This is not your normal take on Batman and the fantasy level is insane! This figure will include several swap out pieces such as hands, arm pieces, thigh pieces and shin pieces. Look for a deep glossy black paint app with some deep red highlights to help make this bad boy pop. As of right now he will retail for $174.99 but that price could change. Play Arts Variant Spider-Man Figure New Images!!
Square Enix has released new photos of their upcoming Play Arts Variant Spider-Man Figure. The new pics give us a look at the finalized figure as well as the accessories that will be included. The figure will include five sets of interchangeable hands, a web effect piece, three webbing attachments, a web style base and a figure stand. Look for this figure to be released this August and the MSRP will be around 12,000 Yen (about $100 USD). Check out all the images below!
Harley Quinn Play Arts Kai Figure New Images!
Square Enix has released new images for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight – Harley Quinn Play Arts Kai Figure. The new photos give us a much better look at the figure and the accessories. Harley will feature three sets of swappable hands, two interchangeable head sculpts, a police cap, a baseball bat, pistol, and a figure stand. The interchangeable heads will also feature swappable pony tail pieces. Look for this amazing figure to hit this coming August at an MSRP of 10,584 Yen (about $90 USD).
