Disney and 21st Century Fox has reached a deal that will bring the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool to the Marvel cinematic universe. This deal will cost Disney 52.4 Billion in stock options. Disney will gain more than just the Marvel properties; Disney will also get all the prequels and OT Star Wars films as
As a GI Joe collector, Mark Bellomo’s book has been and still is a major resource guide in identification and completing figures and vehicles. You all know that both the first edition and the second edition has been sold out for ages. The secondary prices for these books are astronomically high but I have some
CNBC is reporting that Hasbro has approached Mattel about a possible takeover. Neither company is coming out with any conformations but its indeed interesting. We would have the two largest toy makers under one roof and THAT could be something magnificent. Hasbro would have Barbie, Hot Wheels, Transformers, Nerf, Star Wars and more! Only time
As you guys and gals can see, the website has sparely been updated for the month of October. Sometimes life gets in the way of the things you love and sometimes you just loose control of what want to do; that is the case here. There is also burnout among myself and my staff. We
Netflix has dropped the newest trailer for Marvel's Punisher. This looks brutal and I cannot wait to see this!

Hascon is here folks and first impressions are crucial. From what I see this looks to be fun! While we could not make it do to other obligations, our friends over at Jedi Temple Archives are there in full force! Thus weekend should over us a better glimpse into the future of the Star Wars Vintage Collection, Transformers, Marvel and so much more! Yes I singled out the Vintage Collection because that's what Im excited for the most. GI Joe is the step-child so I expect nothing from that line but the others should yield some fruit.
This is not the type of news we like to report but it looks like Toys R Us is hitting some hard times. Toys R Us is exploring Bankruptcy options and as someone who lived through the KB Toys destruction, I do wonder if they can pull through. Some might not know but the same capital group that owned KB owns Toys R Us. This is what we know:
Let's try to get these Reviews of Old Comics going again, shall we? As if our Spider-Man: Homecoming Banner wasn't a giveaway, this is Marvel Month at Needless Essentials Online. It seemed fitting to start with a Spider-Man comic. Wanting to pull from the run that featured the art of Ron Frenz, my first instinct was to do a review of the return of his original costume, but that issue featured the "origin" of Mary Jane Watson, and feeling rather disappointed after reading it for probably the first time since I was a teenager, opted instead for the previous issue, which revealed the black costume he sported after Secret Wars as an alien symbiote, which would later become the villain Venom. This series set the stage for a character that has become almost as popular as the one that spawned him.
With all of the 80s nostalgia taking place, you might have forgotten about the 80s animated series Robotech. Combining three unrelated anime series (The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA), Robotech was a cross-media sensation, emerging not only as an animated series, but a 1986 feature film, a toy line, role-playing game, novelizations, and of course comic books. Previous publishers of Robotech comics are DC, Comico, Eternity, Academy, Antarctic, Wildstorm and Dynamite. This summer, Titan gets added to that list.
