Spawn Film Adds Jeremy Renner To The Cast
The new Spawn film is shaping up to be a major event. First it cast Oscar winner Jamie Foxx as the titular character. Now word has come out the film has cast Jeremy Renner, best known to comic fans as Hawkeye from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Renner will play Twitch, a detective that crosses paths with Spawn.

To be honest, I knew a Spawn film was in the works. In light of the saturation that the Marvel and DC films have on the market, I doubted that it would ever get made. The original Spawn film is considered bad by comparison with CGI that reached too far, too fast. The comic series is remembered more than its read and reviewed. Imagine my shock when I saw this in the e-mail inbox.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Coming to Theaters Early!!
The wait for Avengers: Infinity War will be cut back some. In fact the film will be released a full week earlier than planned! The original theatrical date was May 4th NOW it's April 27th. Supergirl: Legion of Super-Heroes Episode Review
In the mid-season finale, Supergirl was badly beaten by Reign, a new villain that is secretly her friend, Samantha. Reign's purpose is to be a sleeper agent of the Kryptonian Worldkillers. The beatdown was very public, and witnessed by her friends at the DEO, including her ex-boyfriend, Mon-El who has been living in the future as a member of the Legion Super-Heroes, with his wife, Saturn Girl. Four more Legionnaires remain in stasis pods on their trapped ship. In this episode, Mon-El awakens another Legionnaire to help Supergirl while Reign continues to wage destruction on National City. How the Legion In Supergirl Draws From The Comics
In the current season of Supergirl, the Legion of Super-Heroes is slowly revealing itself to be a big part of the story with Supergirl fighting the Kryptonian threat of Reign. Mon-El, introduced last season as an eventual love interest for Supergirl, vanished at the end of last season due to lead poisoning from Earth's atmosphere. Now, announcements have been made for casting two members of the Legion, Saturn Girl, already appearing in two episodes, and Brainiac 5, traditionally a love interest for Supergirl from almost his first appearance. New Sabrina the Teenage Witch Series to Debut on Netflix
Riverdale has become the guilty pleasure of Archie fans, and with an announcement today, Archie Comics is expanding the darker tone of the Riverdale series with a character that has already seen her dark turn in the comics, as well as had her time being adapted for television. Sabrina the Teenage Witch is returning to television in a Netflix series by Riverdale showrunner, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. No cast decisions or expected release date have been named yet.
