To round out the incredible Mezco booth we have horror galore, Gigantor, Mortal Kombat X and Chucky. Also shown was new Mezits and both a roto cast/ plush Snarf from Thundercats. If you look through the gallery I am sure you will spot a few things we missed. I would also like to give these guys a shout out for being so damn cool and I look forward to next year my friends.
I love this company and I love these figures! These my friends are some of the best 6" figures on the market. While Star Wars and Marvel/ DC are still on my shopping list, the One:12 Collective is considered the Hot Toys of the 6" market. The others are awesome for what they are but the One:12 is are in a class all on their own. Trust me I'm not knocking the other 6" lines; they have limitations for retail and these do not. You are paying more but just like Hot Toys, they can charge more for the quality of work that goes into these. Now I do know these we all revealed last week but still, we wanted to get them up on the site!
Power Rangers and Bandai have plans and all of you are invited! If you think Power Rangers are hot just wait, you have not seen anything just yet. Look for Power Ranger Legacy figures latter this year (not shown) and so much more. Also look for a new Power Ranger movie that will hit next March! The other surprise from Bandai was the new Miraculous girls Super Hero line.
Bandai held their media event today and fans of DBZ have some new items to look forward too! Check out those Dragonball Z Master Stars Piece figures. These will be hot once they hit and trust me, they look incredible! Also shown was new Sailor Moon product and Naruto. On a side note check out those boxes!
McFarlane had a smaller booth this year but we did get to see some new stuff. The most notable was the packaging change for the TV Series Walking Dead figures, Assassin Creed and Spawn! These new boxes are starting to become the norm and the change is welcomed. Also shown was new Sports picks and the Building Block sets. McFarlane continues to impress fans and I look forward to seeing more from them in 2016.
Mega Bloks had a nice display at the Matty Event and the TMNT stole the show. I know we are not alone with this as many hovered around this section for a while. Halo also had a good showing and the sets look tight. We would like to say thank you to the fine folks at Matty for putting on this event and for giving us free food and beverages! Matty Collector is always welcoming and I look forward to working with them during the year! Now onto the last set of images!
Matty also had a good selection of Comic inspired Diecast cars. Love them or hate them we do have plenty to choose from. Personally the artwork is incredible and even though I do not collect diecast, I saw a few that would look good with the comic collection. I am sure you will find a few you like as well.
Matty Collector showed off new MOTU figures and Thundercats. Of course we have seen the Thundercats already but in person they look awesome! Also on hand was the Filmation MOTU figures. Some of them are already out and the rest will be coming. Check out all the images below!
The New Ghostbusters were shown today along with Halo and WWE. The most unique thing was the Zombi WWE figures. Now this could be an interesting story line and who knows what Matty will do with these. Also shown was a selection of Halo figures. Check out the images below.
Matty Collector held their special event today and they had quite a few items on display. Revealed today was the first assortment of Suicide Squad figures. Missing was Harley but she should be coming in the next assortment. Also shown was DC Cinematic Universe figures. Look for Flash, Supergirl and more from this line. Take a look at all the images below. We are breaking this pack up so look for more images from the event soon.
The Lego Toy Fair 2016 booth is bursting with new series and new sets in existing series! We've got a small sample of everything shown right here.
We finally have our last bit of images for the night. I figured we would save the best for last...Star Wars! Even though the selection shown was light it was the quality that counts! The Star Wars Black line continues to impress and we have some major figures coming this year. Not shown today was the AT-AT driver. Now we did get a glimpse and he looks awesome! If you collect the Black Series then sit back and enjoy the ride.
