Tank Girl is always one of those comics that asks you to strap in for the ride. After serious comics beg to be taken seriously, it's good to pick up a comic that just wants you to read it.
Titan Comics has made it a practice to bring some comics from around the world to an English-speaking audience. In an effort to keep doing that, they have formed a new imprint to make those comics easier to recognize, Statix Press.
Lenore is one of those 1990s comics that is fondly remembered by lots of people. If you remember it fondly, then you'll be pleased to know that Titan Comics is releasing The Bloody Best of Lenore, in time for her 25th anniversary.
There's a new Doctor Who event under way at Titan Comics. The four modern Doctors are crossing over to face a grand threat. These always have lots of promise, and Titan's preview for this crossover is better than any of the previous ones that I've seen.
Tank Girl is one of those characters in comics that illustrates that the rules of continuity and plot don't have to be completely rigid. She also shows that comics can be completely fun while spitting in the face of "mainstream culture." We'll probably do a better, full article on the character as the 30th anniversary of her publication in the UK comics magazine Deadline approaches, ad may even do a review of the 1995 film that starred Lori Petty, Ice-T and Malcolm McDowell. The current home for Tank Girl is Titan Comics, who is planning a hardcover book, The Way of Tank Girl.
Let's acknowledge the elephant in the room. Titan Comics, a British publisher is publishing the Simon & Kirby creation Fighting American. However, if the comic is good, I don't mind who the publisher is. That brings the question to bear, is this version of Fighting American any good?

This is one book i'm personally excited for. While I do have Super Hero burnout, this will fill that need to read! I love it when older properties get that "fresh" look so I will be giving this a shot. For now, check out cover A as revealed from ComicsPro this past weekend.
One the licensed properties that Titan Comics has explored the expanded world for is the Assassin's Creed franchise. In Last Descendants - Locus, we see the ancestor of Victorian London. Check them out the look for it in your local comic shop on September 21.
We looked at the preview pages illustrated by Junko Mizuno and were hooked. Sometimes our e-mail gets press releases that impress us and this was one of them. I am going to let the preview art speak for itself. However, Titan Comics has a press release, so we would be remiss if we didn't share it.
Just in time for Doctor Who Comics Day we have Titan Comics' latest crossover of the Doctors facing a threat from the Cybermen, one of the races that has plagued the Doctor across dimensions as well as time. Check out the preview before celebrating at your local comic shop.
One of the great series to come from Titan Comics' eruption into the US Market has to have been new Tank Girl stories from original co-creator Alan Martin. First we got Solid Sate Tank Girl, then 21st Century Tank Girl which featured the return of original co-creator Jamie Hewlitt. Most recently, we've seen Two Girl, One Tank with artist Brett Parson. Coming In September will be the next installment, Tank Girl: Gold. Parson will return as artist, with other great artists providing variant covers.
