Bill Sienkiewicz’s Walking Dead Variant Covers Are Astounding

Bill Sienkiewicz is one of those artists that has elevated comic art by raising the bar every time his work is published. We covered his 1980s cover art before, but his current work continues to astound with its quality. Image Comics and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment released his latest three variants for The Walking Dead #177-179. THREE MORE BILL SIENKIEWICZ VARIANT COVERS FOR THE WALKING DEAD’S 15TH ANNIVERSARY UNVEILED

Image/Skybound Entertainment is pleased to reveal three more in a series of monthly THE WALKING DEAD variant covers featuring art by Bill Sienkiewicz, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the long-running series. These Sienkiewicz variants kick-off the “New World Order” story arc and will run throughout 2018. Revealed below are THE WALKING DEAD #177, THE WALKING DEAD #178, and THE WALKING DEAD #179.

This new story arc will introduce all-new friends, new enemies, new threats, and a whole new order.

THE WALKING DEAD #177 Cover A (Diamond Code JAN180843) and Cover B by Sienkiewicz (Diamond Code DEC178075) will be available in stores on Wednesday, March 7th. The final order cutoff will be on Monday, February 12th.

THE WALKING DEAD #178 Cover A (Diamond Code FEB180713) and Cover B by Sienkiewicz (Diamond Code DEC178343) will be available in stores on Wednesday, April 4th. The final order cutoff will be on Monday, March 12th.

THE WALKING DEAD #179 will hit stores on Wednesday, May 2nd.
