The Marvel Cinematic Universe Just Got Larger

Disney and 21st Century Fox has reached a deal that will bring the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool to the Marvel cinematic universe. This deal will cost Disney 52.4 Billion in stock options. Disney will gain more than just the Marvel properties; Disney will also get all the prequels and OT Star Wars films as well. While most would have went to Disney in 2020, the original 1977 Star Wars film would have remained at Fox. We will now have the opportunity to see unaltered versions of these films in HD sometime in the future. Besides Star Wars, Disney will also get much, much more.

Fans can still expect to see The New Mutants, Deadpool 2, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix in 2018 but other projects such as Gambit, X-Force, and a potential Dark Phoenix sequel is unknown at this time.
