Titan Comics released a collection recently that may have slipped under your radar. Heralded in a recent press release as Heavy Metal meets Big Hero Six, it looks like a wonderfully fun little bit of science fiction goodness.

My Little Pony is one of those properties that has captured the imagination of an entire generation. The comic book series from IDW helps feed the need fans of the television series and toys have for new content. It also helps that it maintains the feel of the television series. This Tuesday sees the twenty-fifth issue of My Little Pony Friends Forever featuring a great Rainbow Dash story. The truest test for this series is showing it to a three year old on the computer. If she asks why they aren't talking, then the creators have nailed the same feeling that the television series has. I showed this to a three-year old girl and that was the first question she asked. Mission accomplished. Way to go, Barbara Kesel and Brenda Hickey, you nailed the comic book for one of her favorite television shows.
Next week sees Marvel start an all-new Deadpool series that teams the Merc with a mouth up with some of the D-listers that Marvel has in its stable. I know calling characters D-listers is a little harsh, but on the team is Slapstick. Also on the team is Solo, Stingray, Foolkiller, and Terror. These are characters from the 1990s that Marvel has tried to take seriously, but really are the type that belong in a Deadpool comic.
Archie Comics has sent us previews of Archie #6, the latest issue in one of our favorite new series of 2015. With what looks like the new regular artist Veronica Fish, the sample pages show the first signs that the budding relationship between Archie and Veronica has a threat in the form of Riverdale's former richest teenager, Reggie Mantle. Mark Waid's story further develops the supporting cast of Riverdale High, updating them, yet keeping them familiar. Check out the preview below, and then reserve your copy for next month!
This week sees the release of Man Plus #1, a new, highly anticipated series from André Lima Araújo, the writer behind Avengers AI, Ultimate Fantastic Four, and Age of Apocalypse. This series has brought acclaim from other comic creators like Mark Waid, Jonathan Hickman, Rick Remender, Kieron Gillen and Sam Humphries.

If you want to read the comic adventures of the Twelfth Doctor but need a good starting point, the The Twelfth Doctor Year Two is just right for you. Fans of the first year will be glad to know that series write Robbie Morrison returns, but with a new artist. Rachael Stott has some amazing pages in this preview from Titan Comics featuring the Twelfth Doctor and his companion Clara Oswald, portrayed on television by Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman.
The Tenth Doctor Year Two has been continuing the further stories of David Tennant's Tenth Doctor. Fans of Doctor Who might be interested in this preview sent to us by Titan Comics. Titan has been a great steward of the Doctor Who franchise and this series has been a fun continuation for those Doctor Who fans that miss the stories of the Tenth Doctor and aren't satisfied with just the television episodes.
Archie #5 continues the series that has impressed so many critics. It was a real surprise to see Archie and the gang so successfully relaunched. It has given new life to the iconic characters that almost every casual comic fan knows about. The latest issue promises to develop the rivalry between Betty and Veronica. While we have strong feelings about variant covers, the variant by Thomas Pitilli is spectacular. Read on for the preview pages sent to us by Archie Comics, and expect a review soon, because we love the series that much.
