Black Mask Studios really caught the attention of a lot of people in 2016. With titles like Young Terrorists, Space Riders, and of course, We Can Never Go Home, they really showed fans of great comics what can be done. They've just announced a very impressive and interesting slate of title launching in 2016. Check them out and keep on the lookout for them in your local comic shop. Heck, you probably want to go ahead and let them know to add them to your subscription folder.
Just in time for Christmas, We Can Never Go Home is getting the TPB treatment next week, arriving in local comic shops. Black Mask Studios has published one of the biggest surprise hits of the year, with issues going into multiple printings to meet demand. That demand has also seen first printings in high demand and fetching high prices on the back issue market.
We Can Never Go Home has been one of those titles that shows how good comics can be.Now a story that kept us riveted and eagerly awaiting the next issue has come to an end. In our reviews for the title, the average review score has been 93/100. For a series to get this kind
You probably know by now that I absolutely love this series from Black Mask. The first issue surprised me so pleasantly that it got one of only two perfect scores from me (the other was the debut of Spider-Gwen), and the second issue wasn't far off. At this point, it's the leading contender for series of the year, and would have to screw up pretty major to ruin it chances. I'll tell you how good I think this series is, I get digital review copies and I'm seeking out the printed copies, which if your local comic shop or summer convention fails, you can always get at their online store. Enough talking about how much I loved the first two issues of this series, and let's see if the love holds true through the third.
Josh Hood is the artist on Black Mask's We Can Never Go Home, but has more of a history in comics than you think. Beginning in 1995, he quickly found work at both Marvel and DC before leaving comics in 2003. Then he read Old Man Logan and was hooked again.(Source) Check out some of the great stuff we found at his website, and then hopefully, you can catch him at a convention this summer!
