Sunday night, Oct 6, saw the debut of Batwoman, the latest entry into producer Greg Berlanti's Arrowverse. There's been a lot of hope for this series, especially among those excited to see a LGBTQ superhero television show with a LGBT lead. However, now that it has delivered, is it any good?

This past couple of television seasons has seen an eruption of television shows based on comics, with CW leading the way with The Flash, Arrow, and iZombie. Word got out earlier that Supergirl would join those shows, and a renewed Legends of Tomorrow. Today it was announced that the CW would have a solid half dozen of comic-based television series on its schedule. The newest series to debut, based on a comic book series is Riverdale.
A Riverdale TV series was first teased almost a year ago, and mentioned again at SDCC, just as Archie Comics was launching the New Riverdale in its comics line. Now its looking much more official, and CW is looking like the network to go to for comic book themed television.
CAUTION: As much as I try to, there may be spoilers in this article. DISCLAIMER: Yes, I illegally downloaded the Supergirl Pilot. People were talking about it, so I felt like I had to, but I'm still going to watch it when it airs, and if the quality holds up, I'll probably buy the DVD sets.
