Power Rangers Exhibit Celebrates New BOOM! Studios Comic

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, then you really need to check out the Power Rangers Exhibit at Gallery Nucleus. It’s in celebration of the new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic from BOOM! Studios arriving in your local comic shop on January 13. The exhibit will run from January 16-31, 2016.

unnamed (6)Gallery Nucleus is at 210 E. Main Street in Alhambra, CA. At 7pm on Jan 16, a reception will start to officially open the exhibit. Admission is free to the general public, and the first 100 people get a free door prize. Power Rangers merchandise will be on sale and signatures are available only to the first 200 people that purchase something from the Nucleus gift shop, although anyone that purchases something, maybe a Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers #0 bundle pack or the limited edition print, will be entered into the hourly raffle for Power Rangers merchandise. So far, the only guests are writers  Kyle Higgins and Mairghread Scott, but others may be announced closer to the day of the event. Kids might even get a kick out of the red and pink stunt rangers there. Finally, don’t feel like you have to plan to grab dinner beforehand, there will be a food truck there.

The exhibit will include brand-new tribute art and rarely seen production art from the Saban television series. The Nucleus shop will offer Power Rangers merchandise only for the duration of the exhibit, so don’t expect to show up next month and find leftovers. Get there by the end of the month, and support gallery exhibits that celebrate the art around your favorite comics and television shows.

Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers #0 arrives in your local comic shop on January 13, 2016 for $3.99. There are multiple covers available, including a 1:50 Green Ranger variant and a 1:100 White Ranger variant.
