I love exclusives and I love a good Harley Quinn. I must admit something though, I would hate to try and track down every single POP out there in the wild. That would be a challenge. This one though will not be so hard. Conquest Comics has her as an exclusive and you can order one right HERE.
I had this sitting in my inbox for a few days and I definitely wanted to get this out to you guys. StarWarsFiguren.com came through again with some carded images of the Amazon exclusive Droid Factory series. In the early 1990s, the speculation boom brought lots of new customers into comic shops. Some professionals in the industry though it might be a good time to create new universes to draw these new readers in, and some used purchased licenses to build those universes around. Valiant was one of those companies. Structured around purchased Silver Age Gold Key characters Solar, Man of the Atom and Magnus, Robot Fighter, Jim Shooter directed the construction of a universe complete with new characters, brought in creators like Barry Windsor-Smith and Dave Lapham, and engage readers on a level not seen in years. Valiant seemed like it might survive the eventual bursting of the speculation bubble, but alas, it was not to be.
I am a huge fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes, published by DC, almost non-stop, for over fifty years. This summer marks the end of that streak for the foreseeable future. Even when they didn't have their own regular series, the Legion would appear in back-ups in Action Comics and Superboy, before taking over the latter title and starting a publishing streak that saw the rise of artists like Mike Grell, Pat Broderick, Keith Giffen, Steve Lightle, Stuart Immonen, Oliver Coipel, Francis Manapul, among others. Sadly, in recent years, the title has been hurt by reduced sales, changes in direction and apparent mixed editorial messaging as to the purpose of a book set 1,000 years in the future.
I love you Hasbro. I wanted this figure in a bad way and I finally have it. Thank you for giving us Kwinn. Old school Joe guys know who he is and the role he played within the G.I Joe lore. It is so nice to finally have this one guys and once again a big thanks goes out to Hasbro for finally getting him out. This review is short as I wanted the pics to tell you his story. I hope you enjoy them and pick him up if you see him! Support the brand and keep it alive!!
Continuing our look at the latest G.I Joe releases, we are pleased to present you all the new Crimson Guard. I must say I was a tad skeptical of another CG but after this review I might have a change of heart. To find out what I think stay with us after the jump.
Hey Transfans, did you catch the Transformers show in Charlotte this weekend? I sure hope you did because it was an amazing show. Charticon is a new Transformer show (hosted in Charlotte NC) that took many by surprise. Most new cons suffer from the "new" factor as I call it but not this one. I do believe the attendance and overall fan reaction took the guys behind the show by surprise.
