NES Fans Rejoice.
NES fans rejoice, no longer will you have to hunt flea markets and E-bay to find those hard to find games. No longer will you have to blow into cartridges with hopes that all the dust doesn’t fly back up in your face. This November, you will be able to buy an NES that is preloaded with 30 of your favorite games from 30 plus years ago.
According to nintendoeverything.com, the NES Classic Edition will be available in November for the price of 59.99 and will feature 30 Nintendo icon classics that defined a generation of gamers and set a high bar for home video game entertainment. In the box you get the unit, which features an hdmi port for modern tvs, and one controller meant to emulate the original in shape and size. An additional controller can be purchased for 9.99 to be used on the NES Classic Edition for two player games and can be plugged into your WII-mote to play those Virtual Console games you already bought.
The device is very similar to other iterations of classic consoles, updated for modern play, like the Sega Genesis or Atari 2600. The device is much smaller than the original and will not work with original NES controllers or games. The device is being made by Nintendo so you can be sure that all your favorites from when you were a kid will be included.
