Comics Christmas Shopping Suggestions: Day Fourteen
Between now and Christmas, every day we’ll highlight a suggestion for gift giving. All of these suggestions will be comics-themed, and every day will see one featured.
For Day Fourteen, we’re going to go with a product that I love that transforms a collection into an attractive library of reading material.

The BCW Stor-Folio is a drop back portfolio box. It is an unequaled transportable comic book storage device. The Stor-Folio will hold up to 15 bagged and boarded comic books, or up to 20 loose comic books. The Stor-Folio can be shelved in a book case, or carried in your backpack to safely transport your comics to your favorite comic book convention. You can also store up to eight Comic Book Stor-Folios in a BCW magazine box.
Both the front and the spine features clear pockets into a piece of artwork will fit. It also features a secure velcro closure. It is easy to open, but will not accidentally unfasten. The outside dimensions are: 8 x 11 ¼ x 2 inches and will hold about anything up to 7¾ x 11.
I discovered this product in a shop in Orlando, Florida. I bought all they had and only recently discovered a shop in my area that carries more. You can order them directly from BCW, but at this point, it might be hard to get by Christmas, but express shipping options are available, but you will pay for them, so don’t wait. In quantity, these can be placed on bookshelves either spine out or for large runs, with the first box facing out. They look very snazzy and the velcro closure on mine have held up nicely. BCW also has magazine size Stor-Folio cases, and an offer where they send you ten modern age comics along with it, at just under an extra $6.00. There’s no guarantee at what you’ll get, but it’s a thought for a variation on this theme.
