Bandai Announces New Star Wars One Sixth Scale Stormtrooper

Yes you read that right. We have new game coming to the One Sixth scale market. How will they compare to Hot Toys or Sideshow? We do not know but we are intrigued to say the least. Bandai Tamashii Nations Movie Realization Ronin Boba Fett Okay. I’m not going to lie to you: I’m just fine with the Black Series figures that Hasbro is putting out. Yeah, the Figuarts stuff is pretty. It’s really nice. Yeah, the Black Series stuff can be a pain to find sometimes and the paint can be a little thick or just not very good. But they’re really hitting the right notes for me in terms of character selection, price, and overall compatibility. They look good together. So for my main Star Wars collection, I’m just fine sticking the Hasbro stuff. But that doesn’t mean I’m not willing to branch out and give new things a try. And what better way to make something new than by making it old?

Boba Fett from Bandai is looking awesome! This new model kit will be a must have for fans of the 1/12 figure line. Just like C-3PO and others, once built he will be a fully posable action figure. The Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back – Boba Fett 1/12 Scale Model Kit is priced at 2,916 Yen ($24 USD). It features a jetpack with movable thrusters and a moveable targeting eyepiece. The figure will include a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, a figure stand, and multiple interchangeable hands. Tamashii Nations Realization Boba Fett

Tamashii Nations has released a few more images of their upcoming Star Wars Realization Boba Fett. Back in July we first brought you a small update highlighting this figure and more from the Realization line. This figure will include the following accessories: Body, Japanese sword set, replacement wrist left and right each four, blaster rifle,  and weapon set. There will be plenty more Realization figures coming from Bandai Japan. Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper is on the way now and look for Boba Fett to hit in November. Check out the images below.

Star Wars 1/72 Scale Y-Wing Model Kit

Bandai has released new images and infor for their next Star Wars vehicle model kit;  1/72 Scale Y-Wing. This kit is a pre painted model that measure 225 MM long and will include a variety of accessories. Look for it to include a Death Star style display base, laser effects, two seated pilots, a standing pilot, an R5 style Astromech Droid and an R2 style Astromech Droid.
