As the newest original team from Byrne is formed, what surprises will he have in store? Discuss this here or in the Forum!
Aha, the smell of fresh new books. Wednesday's can be considered a Geek filled holiday and unlike those other pesky holidays, we get this year round! MORNING GLORIES is gearing up for back-to-school! The Image Comics series by Nick Spencer and Joe Eisma is prepping for Fall, just like any diligent student of the prestigious Morning Glory Academy, where nothing is as it seems and a failing grade can mean death.
This week Image dominates the charts with some solid releases. Walking Dead is sure to tear things up and so will East of West. Marvel has a few good books coming and so does DC. IDW seems a little light this week but that will change next week. Dark Horse has the almighty Star Wars coming out so all in all, looks to be a some fun reads.
Brett from Ssalefish Comics posted up some killer news concerning Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic series. Looks like we are in for one hell of a ride. Here is to another solid 10 years! Updated with some more info.

San Diego, CA (July 2, 2013) - IDW Publishing is renowned for having great exclusives at San Diego Comic-Con International every year, but 2013 finds them taking it to the next level. See below for a complete list of SDCC exclusives, which promise to be the most sought after of the show!
Image Comics has announced a Marco Checchetto variant cover for the third issue of Joe Casey’s and David Messina’s psychedelic “slacker superhero” series THE BOUNCE. Checchetto is the current artist on Avenging Spider-Man, and has also worked on other Marvel titles.
Each week I will try and pick the top 10 new books. Now this is what I think will be hot and there is no scientific data to back it (in other words sales figures). This is something we could have fun with and if you feel I am off the mark then let me know in the comments section. Who knows, maybe I will pick your books next week.
