When we got Mae #1 by Gene Ha in our e-mail, I was thrilled. I've long been a fan of his work and the chance to see him work on a personal project excites me to no end. It looks to be the right kind of comic for female readers, but should also appeal to anyone that fondly remembers Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld, likes fantastic, naturalistic comic art, or fans of great storytelling in comics. If you want to get a copy of this book, the final order cutoff is April 25. Otherwise, look for it in better comic shops on May 18. Until we can properly review the book, here's a preview of it.

The Neon Genesis: Evangelion spinoff The Shinji Ikari Raising Project is getting an Omnibus collection. It's been a big week for Dark Horse Manga, with this being the fourth announcement of a big collection coming in summer of 2016.
RG Vega (pronounced "Rig Vega") is the manga that put the group of artists known as CLAMP on the manga map. Dark Horse is bringing it to American audiences this summer in a beautiful, three volume omnibus format collecting the entire series which ran from 1989 to 1996.
